Bardandalus used a void charm to remove certain emotions from himself to create some Alchemical more quickly. Kept envy and wrath but removed greed, lust, sloth, pride, and gluttony.
Two early exalted heroes alongside the original eight of Claslat, Estasia, Gulak, Jarish, Kamak, Nurad, Sova, and Yugash. Also Erlik, now the Gremlin city.
The Adamant caste Bardandalus, who would become The Orphaned Chorister and latter the patropoli known as Cradle,
and the Moonsilver caste D’Pulsya, who would become The Mother of Duty and a mobile patropoli with a tribal, goblin population.
Started Cradle to shelter Humans from the toil of Autochintonian society while he figured out how to wake the Maker.
Increase in stillborn prompted him to act on his plan early.
Plan: Killing enough humans as once will break Autobots soul buffer, forcing him awake in pain.
But he could not do this himself because he had programing banning him from directly harming humans. (Forced upon him when he went rogue)
Was getting desperate, using high level void tech to enslave his Alchemical servants and breed as many humans as he could sustain regardless of cost to environment.
Bartandulus’ old lover, The Mother of Duty, went after him. After years and almost all her human’s being killed, she produced a handful of Alchemicals as a last resort.
Bard erases D’pulsya’s Alchemicals memories and try to trick them into hating him so that they would try to destroy his core, causing him to die and all the humans on Cradle along with him.
Mother of Duty want to destroy Bard to stop his seemingly out of line actions.
Bard captures her Exalts, the PC. He infects them with Gremlin Syndrome and implants a subliminal duty to kill Cradle.
Orzai has the counter magic to Bardandulus’s protocols coded in the soul gem on his arms. (Scar character) Was put in place by his up creator before his death. He thinks his creator’s soul is in the gem.
Back-up plan, Bardandulus needs to sacrifice a perfect circle of exalts born of his true love to cast the protocol to get around the fact that he can’t kill himself or directly harm non-Exalted people.
Autobot put that limitation in him before sleeping.
Made a Semi-Broken Exalt to dig the tunnels.
Everyone who dies in Cradle has there soul buffered by Bard. Can be put into faux bodies called soul containers. Real purpose is to build up supply and then overwhelm Autobots soul buffers with generations of Cradle’s souls.

Into the city: eventually meet Sidane and get charms from his Greys.
Orzai, Doomed Insurgent Champion – Orichalcum caste: Last survivor of D’Pulsya. Only survived because he ripped out his soul gem. Wants to destroy Cradle.
